Trailblazer Scholarship

First Generation Undergraduate Students

First Generation, first-time freshmen coming to Missouri S&T are eligible for our new Trailblazer Scholarship. For fall 2024, eligible incoming students will receive a Trailblazer Scholarship in the amount of $2,000/year. (No additional application is required. The scholarship is awarded based off the application for admission as funds are available.)

• First generation status is denoting the first generation to complete a bachelor's degree. Further defined as a student for whom neither parent/guardian has completed a bachelor's degree.
• The scholarship is for new incoming freshmen to Missouri S&T starting in fall 2024.
• Students must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents to receive this award.
• Award is renewable for a total of eight (8) semesters. The student must remain an S&T full-time status with at least a 2.75 GPA to be qualify for renewal.
• Award is available for fall and spring semesters only.
• This award is in addition to any other scholarship students may receive.
