Missouri S&T Connection Award

Only available to out-of-state students from Arkansas, Kansas or Oklahoma

The Missouri S&T Connection Award is exclusively for students coming to S&T from Arkansas, Kansas or Oklahoma!  Students will automatically be considered at the time of admission.

  • The award covers 100% of the difference between in-state and out-of-state tuition and cannot be combined with any institutional or athletic fund that pays out of state tuition.
  • Available to incoming freshmen and transfer students.
  • Based on ACT/SAT results, students will also qualify for the Missouri S&T Connection Extra Award. See below for more details.
  • Only awarded to out-of-state students who come from Arkansas, Kansas or Oklahoma and will be starting on-campus at Missouri S&T in fall 2024. (Students in the Missouri State Cooperative program are not eligible for the Missouri S&T Connection Award.)
  • Receiving this award does not change or establish Missouri residency for other aid.
  • Students must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents to receive this award.
  • Award is renewable for a total of eight (8) semesters.  The student must maintain full time S&T enrollment with at least a 3.00 GPA to qualify for renewal.
  • S&T Connection cannot be combined with the Groundbreaker Scholarship, Transfer Merit scholarship, or Athletic Out of State Waivers
  • Award is available for fall and spring semesters only.

The Missouri S&T Connection Extra Scholarship is also awarded to qualifying students who have been offered the Missouri S&T Connection Award.

  • The scholarship is renewable contingent on continued renewal of the Missouri S&T Connection Award. Student must maintain a 3.00 cumulative GPA and full-time enrollment.
  • Scholarship is only for U.S. citizens or permanent residents. 
  • The scholarship is for new incoming students (freshman and transfer) to Missouri S&T for fall 2024.
  • ACT or SAT scores are required to receive this scholarship. Students may submit multiple test scores to receive or upgrade this scholarship through June 2024. Superscores will be accepted.
