Scholarship renewal criteria

Additional Renewal Criteria

  • All Missouri S&T scholarships require the recipient to be a full-time undergraduate student, which is defined as being enrolled in a minimum of 12 academic credit hours per semester at Missouri S&T and enrolled full-time throughout each semester.
  • Out of state students who become Missouri residents will be assessed instate tuition and forfeit the out of state merit scholarships.
  • For international students, credit hours taken through the Intensive English Program do not count as academic credit hours for full-time enrollment.
  • Scholarships may be used during the fall or spring academic semester and are not available for attendance during a summer semester.
  • Students who interrupt their attendance at S&T to attend another university will not receive these scholarship upon re-enrollment at Missouri S&T. 
  • Renewal GPA is the cumulative GPA typically calculated after two regular academic semesters of enrollment at Missouri S&T and will include all previous graded college-level coursework from accredited postsecondary institutions.
