Summer Aid Application
All students who have a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file are automatically considered for Federal loans and grants (Direct Loans, Pell Grant, Graduate PLUS). You only need to complete the Summer Aid Application if you wish to be considered for Federal Work Study, a University Loan, or if you are enrolled in the Geology field camp.
Summer tuition rates are based on 2017-2018 costs. The summer cost of attendance can be found here.
To apply for financial aid for Summer 2018, you must do the following:
- Have a 2017-2018 FASFA on file with Missouri S&T
- Have a 2018-2019 FAFSA on file with Missouri S&T
- Register at least half-time (3 hours undergraduate, 2 hours graduate) for summer classes. (Initial registration for Summer begins April 2, 2018)
- Complete the Summer 2018 financial aid application
Since funds are limited, priority consideration will be given to those students who have completed the above items by May 1, 2018. After this date, funds will be awarded on an as available basis.
