Additional Campus Scholarships
In addition to merit-based scholarships and departmental scholarships offered by Missouri S&T, we also offer or administer several campus scholarship programs. Missouri S&T welcomes scholarships you may earn from outside organizations as well. There is no limit to the amount of scholarship support you can bring with you from outside sources, so be sure to search for scholarship opportunities and apply for as many as you are able to.
Generally speaking, scholarship programs for undergraduate students are only available to U.S. citizens and will vary in amount based on your state of residency, GPA, academic record, etc.

For qualifying students of families who have invested for college through Missouri’s 529 Savings Plan (MOST) and who attend one of the four (4) University of Missouri campuses. Awardees will be selected based on financial need based on a completed FAFSA. For more infromation on the requirements can be found here.
Roger and Jean Truitt Scholarship
A $5,000 scholarship available to High School Seniors who are living in the Jackson Purchase Counties of Kentucky. Students must enroll as an engineering major once at Missouri University of Science and Technology, with a preference to Chemical Engineering.
The Gorman Scholarship is available to students that have permanent residence in St. Louis City or County. The student must have attained their high school education from a high school located in the CITY of St. Louis NOT in any of the surrounding county. The scholarship is for $1,250 per semester and must be renewed every semester for up-to four year. Students must be pursuing a graduate or undergraduate degree in engineering at Missouri S&T. This is a need based scholarship and the student must complete a FAFSA each year in order to qualify.
