Same as FFEL Stafford Subsidized for dependent students. Independent student limits as follows: 1st year: $7,500; 2nd year: $8,500; past 2nd year: $10,500; GRADUATE: $20,500 (Maximums include William D Ford Federal Direct Stafford Subsidized Loan)

For students that need more financial assistance that the FAFSA does not provide.

Payments and deferments vary by lender check with lender for options. 


* Federal Perkins Loan interest rate is 5%. Grace Period is 9 months with up to 10 years to pay. Minimum repayment is $40/month.
